John Herbert, died 1659, was buried in St Nicholas' chapel and his wife Penelope (Bayning) died 1657 is buried in St John the Baptist's chapel . They have no monuments.

Reverend James Lambe, Oriental scholar and Arabic expert, was buried near the pulpit stairs on 20th October 1664 but he has no monument or marker.
