Sir John Templeton

Mary and her husband William III were crowned as joint monarchs in 1689. A coronation chair was specially made for Mary's use. Their wax effigies can also be seen.

Matilda (Maud) wife of Henry I
The marriage of Matilda of Scotland to King Henry I in 1100 united the Saxon and Norman lines. She is buried near the Shrine of St Edward in Westminster Abbey but has no tomb or memorial.

Edward IV
Edward IV was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 28th June 1461. His queen Elizabeth Woodville was crowned in 1465. Their infant daughter Margaret has a small monument in St Edward's chapel.

James I and Anne of Denmark are both buried in Westminster Abbey. But neither has a monument. Their funeral effigies still remain in the Abbey collection.
