Time Team Special on Westminster Abbey broadcast date confirmed

Tony Robinson and the Time Team go behind the scenes at Westminster Abbey in a one-hour special, Time Team: The Secrets of Westminster Abbey, to be broadcast on Channel 4 on Monday 28th June at 8.00pm.

Time Team were given exclusive access behind the scenes at the Abbey over ten weeks during Autumn/Winter 2009 to make the programme. It examines the day-to-day work of the world’s parish church and the pivotal role that it continues to play in the fabric of the nation.

Time Team also filmed a dig programme at the Abbey which was shown on Sunday 18th April.
