President of Indonesia visits Abbey

The President of the Republic of Indonesia laid a wreath at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday 31st October 2012, as part of his official State Visit to the United Kingdom as the guest of Her Majesty The Queen.

The President who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Yudhoyono, was welcomed by the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, and Chapter together with members of College.

The Dean escorted the President on a short tour of the Abbey before inviting him to sign the Distinguished Visitors' Book.
