Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Flowers were laid outside the Great West Door of Westminster Abbey today (1st April) as part of a service to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the death of Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Cllr Robert Davis, Deputy Lord Mayor of Westminster; His Excellency Thomas Matussek, German Ambassador; the Dean of Westminster, Dr Wesley Carr; OKR Antje Heider-Rottwilm (EKD) and Dr Walther Bindemann, Senior Pastor attend.
During the service Pastorin Anne-Kathrin Kruse read Stationen Auf Dem weg Zur Freiheit (Stations on the road to Freedom) and Pastor Wolfgang Kruse read a Prayer by Dietrich Bonhoeffer written for Christmas 1943.
