Daniel Cook appointed new Sub-Organist

The Dean and Chapter of Westminster is delighted to announce that Daniel Cook has been appointed Sub-Organist of Westminster Abbey in succession to Robert Quinney, who takes up the position of Director of Music at Peterborough Cathedral after Easter.

Mr Cook has been Organist and Master of the Choristers at St Davids Cathedral since 2011. Before this he spent six years as Assistant Director of Music of Salisbury Cathedral and served as Assistant Organist and Organ Scholar at the Abbey between 2002 and 2005. He also held Organ Scholar posts at Worcester and Southwark Cathedrals. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
