New Wednesday Lates
The Abbey is launching Wednesday Lates on 9th November offering a Highlights Tour and a special dinner in the 14th Century Cellarium Café & Terrace. The self-guided tour includes the Coronation Chair, Poets’ Corner, Lady Chapel, and the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.
The Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr John Hall, said: ‘It is an enormous pleasure welcoming visitors and enabling them to capture an experience of this country and the English-speaking world through the Abbey as well as a glimpse of the glory and beauty of God. We hope this development will enable Londoners to slip in for a quick visit – perhaps on their way home from work.’
Tickets on the door (no tickets online): £10 adults/£5 children
Open 4.30 pm – 7.00 pm (last entry: 6.00 pm).
Cellarium Café and Terrace set menu: £15/£17.
