  Colonel John Strode, governor of Dover Castle in Kent and a Gentleman of the Privy Chamber to Charles II, was buried on 30th March 1686.

  In the west cloister is a memorial stone to Emily Tennyson Bradley, daughter of the Dean of Westminster, and her husband Alexander Murray Smith.

  Colin Williams (1942-2015) was an Abbey Honorary Steward (from 1992-2012) and a generous donor to the appeal for the restoration of Henry VII's chapel.
