Henry de Vere, 18th Earl of Oxford, was Lord High Chamberlain of England and was buried in a vault in St John the Baptist's chapel.

George Vertue, engraver, is buried in the north cloister. A tablet was erected for him and his wife Margaret, who’s buried in the same grave.

On the wall of the south transept is a memorial to Sir Richard Coxe. The coat of arms above the tablet shows three bars.

Dame Sybil Thorndike, actress, is buried in the south choir aisle. Her ashes were buried on 2nd July 1976. The gravestone was unveiled 23rd October.

In the north choir aisle is a bust in memory of organist/composer Orlando Gibbons. It is a copy of the bust in Canterbury Cathedral.
