In the north aisle of the nave is a memorial to civil engineer John Smeaton. It includes an inlay of Smeaton's famous work, Eddystone lighthouse.

The ashes of Christian socialist and clergyman Frederic(k) Lewis Donaldson (known as Eric in his family) are buried in the vault of the Islip chapel.
