The Reverend Professor Vernon White, who has been Canon Theologian of Westminster Abbey since June 2011 and a Visiting Professor at King’s College London, is to retire at the end of September 2018.

Edward Vernon has a marble memorial in the north transept, near the entry door. He was born in Westminster on 12th November 1684.

Robert White, composer, and his wife Ellen (Tye) were buried in St Margaret's Westminster. He was Organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey.

The Reverend Vernon Faithfull Storr has a memorial stone in the north cloister of Westminster Abbey. He is buried at Matfield church in Kent.
