  In the south transept is the grave of Major Henry Carr. It is worn on one side but the name can still be seen.

  In east cloister is a tablet to Jane Lister, daughter of Dr Martin Lister F.R.S. eminent zoologist and physician of York and his wife Hannah.

  Frederic William, Baron Schulenberg was buried in the south transept of Westminster Abbey on 14th January 1720. He has no monument or gravestone.

  Edward John Long Scott, Keeper of the Muniments at Westminster Abbey from 1891-1918 has a bronze memorial tablet in the Muniment Room where he worked.

  In the east cloister is a marble monument in the form of a cross to the Reverend Ernest Hawkins, Canon of Westminster from 1864-1868.

  Gilbert Elliot Murray-Kynynmound, Earl of Minto, and his brother Hugh are buried in the north transept of Westminster Abbey. The inscription was renewed in 1975.

  Ezekiel, Baron Spanheim was buried in St Paul's chapel. He was Ambassador Extraordinary from the King of Prussia to the Queen of Great Britain.

  Major General Sir Fabian Ware, founder of the Imperial (now Commonwealth) War Graves Commission, has a memorial stone in St George's chapel.

  An alabaster and black marble monument to Anne Kirton in St Andrew's chapel has been moved from its original position and is now rather obscured.

  HRH The Prince of Wales attended a Service of Thanksgiving to mark over £100 million raised for good causes by the Benefact family in Westminster.

  Unfortunately the memorial window in St Margaret's Westminster to Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, surgeon and engineer, was destroyed by blast during the 1939-1945 war.
