A statue to this modern martyr, Janani Luwum, was unveiled in July 1998 and stands above the west entrance to the Abbey. Sculptor Neil Simmons.

1606-1695 Priest/Minister
Dr Richard Busby, who held the post of Head Master of Westminster School for 55 years, is buried beneath the pavement of the Choir.

Poet
Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Poet Laureate, died in 1892. His funeral at Westminster Abbey was attended by thousands of mourners. Bust by T. Woolner.
