Share in a celebration of world cultures in the walled garden of the Commonwealth Church.


Get a flavour of the vibrant diversity of the Commonwealth this summer through stories, crafts and incredible performances of music and dance representing traditions from across the globe.
Join in with dynamic dances, sing sensational songs and hear stories from third generation Sri Lankan storyteller, Debbie Guneratne.

The day will include:
• Māori performances
• Kathak dancing from India
• Steelpan drum orchestra
• African print-making
• Storytelling

We’ll also be joined by our friends from across London’s cultural sector with crafts and activities designed to help you experience a taste of the Commonwealth here in London.

Age suitability

This activity is suitable for children aged 3+.

All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.
