Poets’ Corner will provide an exceptional backdrop for an evening of poetry read by some of London’s most exciting voices.

Prepare for an unforgettable evening of poetry at 'Portals of Discovery', curated by Jade de Robles Rossdale and held in the iconic Poets' Corner. 

The event will feature readings by talented poets and writers from London, who will share their own work as well as selections from the poets commemorated at the Abbey. The lineup includes Daisy Lowe (writer and supermodel), James Massiah (poet and musican), Greta Bellamacina (poet and actor), Cecilia Knapp (novelist and poet), Zakariye (poet) and Jade de Robles Rossdale (curator and writer).

After the readings there will be an opportunity for people to explore Poets’ Corner with a drink from the paid bar.

Age suitability 

This event is for adults and young people over the age of 16. Please see our family pages for information and events to explore this theme as a family.

Timings

You are welcome to attend Evensong at 5.00pm before the evening event. 

Doors will open at 6.30pm. Poetry readings will begin at 7.00pm.

​​Entry to the Abbey is via the Great West Door. 

Access and security 

Please have your ticket ready to show our staff (either printed or on your mobile phone). 

On your arrival, your bag will be searched and we ask you not to bring any large items with you (for example suitcases, large backpacks or folding bicycles) as these will not be allowed inside and we are unable to store them for you.
