Seminar: Christian Witness in a Crisis-Shaped World
Join us for the first of this term’s online seminar talks to engage with the latest research from a range of theological and ecclesiological thinkers.
Between climate change, an unequal economic system, and widespread human migration, human societies are under stress and strain like never before. And just at the moment when the world needs to hear good news, many people perceive the church as too old, tired, or out-of-touch to respond.
Jesse Zink’s new book Faithful, Creative, Hopeful: Fifteen Theses for Christians in a Crisis-Shaped World draws on Scripture, the Christian tradition, and on-the-ground ministry experience to demonstrate the importance of the Christian gospel to the flourishing of all in a crisis-shaped world. Join us for a discussion on the nature of Christian witness in our changing and challenging times.
You can learn more about the book on the publisher’s website and read the introduction and first few chapters for free on Google Books.
