Voice and Verse 15-Minute Talk: Poets' Corner - October
Enrich your visit to Westminster Abbey by attending a drop-in talk about the history of Poets’ Corner every Tuesday across the Autumn Season.
Poets’ Corner is a destination for literature lovers and an evolving monument to Britain's literary heritage. More than 100 poets and writers are buried or have memorials here.
Join a member of the Westminster Abbey team for a short talk that will reveal how this famous site came to be and reflect on the lives of some of the poets who are buried or remembered in the heart of London.
Space will be managed on a first come first served basis.

Ticketing information
If you would like to look around the rest of the Abbey during your visit then we recommend you do so before attending this talk as Poets’ Corner is located at the end of the visitor route. This is to allow you enough time to see as much as possible.
Age suitability
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.

This talk will last for approximately 15 minutes.

Access and security
On your arrival, your bag will be searched and we ask you not to bring any large items with you (for example suitcases, large backpacks or folding bicycles) as these will not be allowed inside and we are unable to store them for you.
