Family Tour: Easter and the Abbey
Join us to explore Westminster Abbey, looking for links to the Easter story.
Easter is a very important date in the calendar – and not just for eating chocolate. In this special tour of the Abbey, children and their grown-ups will explore how the Abbey celebrates Easter as a Christian Church as well as discovering historic Easter links, and the stories and traditions that lie behind this special holiday.

Ticketing information
This tour will take you through Westminster Abbey and it will conclude at the end of the visitor route.
This event does not include self-guided entry to Westminster Abbey. If you'd like to also book a self-guided ticket, we recommend looking at the Visit us pages to plan a visit during opening hours.
Age suitability
This activity is suitable for children aged 6+.
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout their time at the Abbey.
Timings
Tours will run for 1 hour.
You are welcome to attend the lunchtime Eucharist at 12.30pm after the tour.
Meeting location
This event will meet at the West Door.
Access and security
Please have your ticket ready to show our staff (either printed or on your mobile phone).
On your arrival, your bag will be searched and we ask you not to bring any large items with you (for example suitcases, large backpacks or folding bicycles) as these will not be allowed inside and we are unable to store them for you.
The Abbey has uneven floors and parts of the tour may only be accessible up a flight of steps.
