Composer and musician Thomas Ford was buried in St Margaret's Church Westminster on 17th November 1648. But he has no memorial or gravestone. Nothing is known of his origins but his sister Joan was the wife of John Gray. He wrote sacred music, part songs and music for viols. In 1610 he was appointed musician to Henry, Prince of Wales and served until his death in 1612. He attended his funeral at the Abbey. He was a lute player and one of the musicians to Charles, Prince of Wales (later Charles I). His Musicke of Sundrie Kindes was published in 1607. He seems to have been unmarried.
