Sir John Webster
Sir John Webster was buried in an unknown location within Westminster Abbey on 14th April 1675. He was described as having been Commissary for the Emperor of all Russia and Muscovia. Although he called himself a Baronet his name does not appear in any official lists.
He came from Kirby in Norfolk and had a daughter Mary and a nephew Henry Gouldsworth. A sister Catharine Lucasz lived in Holland. His will mentions cousins John Webster, draper of London, and his brothers in Barbados, and John and Jacob of Cheapside in London. His niece Mary Betts inherited his estate.
