John Seward

John Seward was buried in the south ambulatory of Westminster Abbey on 6th April 1624 but he has no marker. He was of Stoke under Hamdon in Somerset and had a house in Westminster. His wife was Joane and their son John was baptised in the Abbey on 16th September 1622. Their daughters were Bridget and Philippa.

He was a brother of Isaac Seward and of Dr Henry Seward, Prebendary of Salisbury cathedral. Henry administered his will on behalf of his minor children. Nothing else seems to be known of him.
