We warmly welcome children and young people to the Abbey, although we don't recommend a visit for pre-school-age children. We offer a walk back through time - a thousand years of history - as well as stunning architecture and a living church.

If you are arranging a special tour or visit for your school, college or other youth group, it can be hard to know where to start. This section is designed to help you. All pre-booked tours qualify for an entry charge discount.

There are two types of school tour for pupils studying the UK National Curriculum or for overseas schools, as well as a variety of other tours available to other youth groups. Use the menu on the left for more information.
