I am delighted to be able to welcome you to St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey.

Standing as it does between Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, and commonly called "the parish church of the House of Commons", St Margaret's has witnessed many important events in the life of this country. This remains true in our own day but now, more than ever, St Margaret's welcomes many visitors from all over the world.

Many people come to the numerous special services that take place here throughout the year, people regularly pause to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the church, and every Sunday we are joined by people from all over the world. Those of us who regularly worship here hope that you will enjoy your visit and that you will take time to remember that this building stands primarily as a witness to the love of God for all his people.
