The following list of people buried or commemorated in Westminster Abbey provides links to information about them and their monuments. There is also information on organisations commemorated. The list is NOT COMPLETE at present, but further entries are always being added.     Several members of the Bentinck family are buried in the Ormond vault at the eastern end of Henry VII's chapel in Westminster Abbey. None have monuments but their names and dates of death were added to the vaultstone in the late 19th century.

    Richard de Berkyng (or Barking) was Abbot of Westminster from 1222 to his death on 23 November 1246. He was first buried in the old Lady Chapel (built by Henry III) in Westminster Abbey but when that was demolished to make way for Henry VII's chapel

    The ashes of trade unionist Ernest Bevin were buried in the north aisle of the nave of Westminster Abbey on 8 June 1951. He helped set up the Federal Republic of Germany in 1946.

    Dame Mary Billing d.1499 was buried in St Margaret's Westminster and once had a monument there. She gave money towards building the south aisle. An engraving of the monument was made in 1631 but the tomb was destroyed, possibly during the Civil War.
