James O’Donnell plays works by Bach and Messiaen.

James O’Donnell is Organist and Master of the Choristers of Westminster Abbey. Internationally recognised as a conductor and organ recitalist, he has worked as soloist and director with many of the country’s leading orchestras and ensembles. He has appeared as organ soloist at the BBC Proms and has given recitals all over the world. As the Abbey’s music director he conducts the Abbey’s world-famous choir in its daily services, recordings, broadcasts and tours, and is responsible for the music at all the great services and state occasions which take place in the Abbey.

This concert forms part of the Summer Organ Festival.
