This event is part of an exclusive programme of talks, focusing on notable people buried in the Abbey, for members of the Westminster Abbey Association.

Claire Davies, Head of Learning and Curator at Handel and Hendrix in London, will talk about the life and times of George Frideric Handel. Buried here in Poets' Corner in 1759, Handel wrote anthems for King George ll's Coronation (1727).

In addition to the talk, tickets holders to this event can take a private tour of the Abbey and attend a wine reception with the speaker.


Tickets are £25 (plus a £1.87 booking fee per ticket) and are only available to members of the Westminster Abbey Association and their guests.
