Location - The Abbey
Discover the Abbey’s royal history during Family Day on Saturday 11th February. Join in activities throughout the day, and find out about coronations, make your own crown to take home, and hear the Abbey choir.
All activities are suitable for children aged 3+, and are free with entry to the Abbey.

Become a monarch for the day and find out about some of Britain's most famous kings and queens and their most special day at Westminster Abbey.
Make like a Monarch

Create a crown of your own design to rival the crown jewels and wear throughout your visit as you walk in the footsteps of royalty.
The Westminster Abbey Choir
11.45am - 12.15pm
Listen to the world-famous Choir of Westminster Abbey as they perform parts of the repertoire fit for the Queen.

Join our Minor Canons as they lead you in family prayers in the most sacred part of the Abbey, the Shrine of St Edward the Confessor
King of the Jungle
10.30am - 1.30pm
Make a lion inspired by the friendly character from our new Family Tail as a memento of your visit.
Families can also explore the Abbey using a brand new Family Trail, which includes activities, questions, and lots of special things to look out for. There is also the added incentive of a badge for all who finish it!
Kids Go Free
Family Day is taking place as part of Kids Go Free week, running from Saturday 11th– Saturday 18th February. Each adult ticket purchased (£20.00) provides free entry for up to three children, saving up to £27.00. For larger groups, there is a 15% discount on family tickets throughout the week, saving up to £11.00.
