There has been an Abbey at Westminster for over a thousand years. We invite you to join us on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in the Summer Holidays and use your imagination to travel back in time.
Together we will meet the monks who lived in the monastery, the King who paid for the Abbey to be built and the men who built it, members of the Royal Family who made it their church and famous people who are buried in the Abbey.
Each session will include stories, dressing up, activities such as art and craft, gardening and drama, and there will be a chance to explore sites within the Abbey itself and meet the people who live, work and worship here today.
Suitable for children age 4+. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Free entry: admission tickets to the Abbey are not required.
Enter through the cloister entrance in Dean’s Yard.
